Richard Mille RM 11-03 Flyback Chronograph
Redesign is an important element in the lifecycle of any product. The watch must be vibrant and fit with the brand’s natural style evolution. The RM 011 has been an essential part of the Richard Mille collection since 2007. At the height of its glory, this model was retired to make way for the new RM 11-03 automatic flyback chronograph.
Richard Mille’s guiding principle was to give the new automatic caliber RMAC3 three-dimensionality and visually highlight its complexity. The flyback chronograph’s colored counters and seconds window are surrounded by polished, chamfered split-time mark edges that add depth. This sense of volume is further emphasized by the top bridge made of satin grade 5 titanium, which contrasts with the movement, which is also made of titanium and has a PVD coating. This creates a visual tour of the annual calendar with large dates, 12-hour counter, and countdown function of the flyback chronograph.
