The Montblanc 1858 Ice Sea Automatic Date is Montblanc’s first sports diving watch, featuring a glacier-patterned dial that gives the impression of peering into the depths of a glacier. This blue dial with glacial pattern takes its inspiration from the Mer de Glace (Arctic Ocean), the main glacier of the Mont Blanc massif. Its texture was achieved through an ancient, almost forgotten technique called gratte boisée. The watch features a two-tone ceramic bezel with unidirectional rotation, an engraved case back and an interchangeable blue rubber strap with a fine adjustment system. This watch complies with the ISO 6425 standard for diving watches and is water resistant to 300 meters.
